The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
